Quick answers
Where can I download the iPhone app?
Get YidCalendar for iPhone and iPad from the App Store. Updates come through the App Store. TestFlight builds are separate previews.
How do I text in a reminder?
In a supported build, open Settings → Text in reminders, verify your own number and enable the feature. Use the number shown in the app. The dedicated number awaits SMS approval; see SMS setup and consent for status and details.
How do I stop SMS messages?
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help or email the team. You can also remove your verified number or disable Text in reminders in the app. Removing app settings does not replace a carrier STOP request.
Does one login work on iPhone and Android?
Newer iOS builds and Android use the same YidCalendar authentication service. Older iOS releases may use the earlier backend. A shared login does not mean all reminders and settings are shared across platforms.
Why didn’t I receive an alert?
Check app alert settings, operating-system notification permission, your device clock and Do Not Disturb/Focus settings. For SMS, also check number verification and opt-out status. No alert channel is guaranteed to deliver instantly.
How can I suggest a feature?
Use Feature Requests in the app’s settings to suggest improvements and follow replies. Email support for bugs or account help.
Are dates and zmanim a halachic ruling?
No. They are planning tools. Verify practical details for your location, customs and circumstances with your rabbi.
